How to Savor Every Second of Summer 2021

Summer 2021 is finally here

Have you ever wanted to make your summer exactly like your Pinterest boards, but don’t know where to start? Well, here’s the rundown of your classic summer activities to savor every moment of the summer!

Go to the beach

The most classic summer activity: go to the beach! Nothing says summer like playful waves, bright rays of sun warming your skin, and the smell of saltwater and that fresh ocean breeze. However, this year try spicing up the old swim and tan routine. If you’re feeling sporty try paddle ball, paddle boarding, volleyball or surfing. If you’re looking for a more relaxing activity, go for a nice long walk along the shore and look for seashells. Make sure you don’t forget your SPF!

Go on a picnic

On the beach or in the park, a picnic is always a great way to spend time with your friends and family. To make the experience picture perfect, here are some essentials to have in your bag. Some picnic staples are a cute blanket to lay out, flowers, snacks and food, fresh fruit, and drinks. For a more savory palette add a charcuterie board, sushi, pizza, or finger sandwiches (if you’re feeling fancy). If you have more of a sweet tooth, go for chocolate croissants, cake, mini donuts, or muffins.

Go on a hike

If you’re looking to get in some exercise or a way to connect with nature, a hike is always a great option. Climb to the top of a mountain and enjoy the beautiful views of a sunrise or a sunset. You could hike through a rainforest and even discover rushing waterfalls; the options are endless. Whatever the destination, make sure you have the appropriate footwear and to pack a water bottle, snacks, sunscreen and bug repellent.

Go on a road trip

Summer 2021 is all about the summer of exploration. Go visit all the sites on your bucket list and take a few friends along with you! Make sure you do your research and find the best spots for wherever you’re headed. Be sure to bring classic car ride snacks and to make a summer playlist you’ll never forget!
